Rohit Sharma retires hurt in IND vs IRE
A delivery from Joshua Little missed Rohit’s bat and went on to strike his elbow. The Indian skipper managed to carry on batting for a couple of overs before the pain and discomfort forced him to walk off the field before the start of the 10th over. The injury scare comes just four days ahead of the high-octane IND vs PAK clash which will be held at the same venue on June 9.
“Feeling a little sore,” Rohit Sharma said when asked about his elbow at the post-match presentation.
