Indian Cricket Team’s injury crisis is taking a turn for the worse. Having already lost a significant chunk of their first XI to the NCA, now Kuldeep Yadav has suffered a blow. The left-arm Chinaman bowler missed the IND vs WI 2nd T20 due to a thumb injury.
“We have a forced change. Kuldeep got a hit on the hand yesterday in the nets, it is not serious and just a precautionary measure. Ravi Bishnoi comes in place of him,” Hardik Pandya said at the toss.

Kuldeep Yadav was a forced change for Indian cricket team in the 2nd T20I. Yadav, who has been in sublime form, has emerged as India’s frontline spinner heading into the World Cup 2023. He was hit on the thumb during the 1st T20I and was left out of the XI as a precaution. However, any injury is a cause of concern for Team India with the Asia Cup also on the horizon. In his absence, Ravi Bishnoi featured on a favourable surface in Providence, Guyana.
India would hope that Kuldeep is fit and running for the IND vs WI 3rd T20I on Tuesday. The Delhi Capitals spinner picked up 1/24 in his four overs in the first game in Trinidad. In the ODI series, he was the second leading wicket taker. Yadav picked up 7 in three games, including a devasting spell of 4/6 in the first ODI.
