In KKR vs PBKS, the Kolkata Knight Riders sacrificed their main pacer Mitchell Starc in favour of Dushmantha Chameera. Starc, who cost INR 24.75 crore, missed out on Kolkata’s starting lineup owing to a finger niggle. Chammera joined the Kolkata camp as a substitute for Gus Atkinson and will play his debut game of the season.
Captain Shreyas Iyer disclosed that the Australian star sustained a cut on his finger during Kolkata’s previous game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. However, people on Twitter had differing ideas.
