The Pakistan cricket team ha released Aamir Jamal from the Test squad for the upcoming series against Bangladesh. The two-match series, which marks the start of a hectic international schedule for Pakistan, will get underway from August 21. Jamal had been named in the squad subject to his fitness. However, he will now head back to the NCA in Lahore to recover and rehabilitate.
No Aamir Jamal for PAK v BAN Tests
“Right-arm fast bowler Aamir Jamal has been released from the Test squad ahead of the series against Bangladesh. Aamir, who was earlier included in the squad subject to fitness clearance, has been advised to work on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore,” the PCB said in a statement.
Jamal picked up an injury earlier this year during his County stint.
