After thrashing Australia in one-off Test last week, India Women’s team continued their momentum in ODIs as well as they set a new record against World No.1 Australia in IND W vs AUS W 1st ODI.
The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side posted 282/8 on board in Mumbai which is their highest ever score against Australia in women’s ODIs.
Their previous best was 281/4 at Derby in 2017 Women’s World Cup semi-final where Harmanpreet scored an unbeaten 171.

Talking about the ongoing ODI match, Jemimah Rodrigues (82) and Pooja Vastrakar (62*) scored fifties to power India to a competitive total against the Aussie Women’s team.
India were struggling at 182/7 at one stage but a brilliant 68-run partnership between Jemimah and Pooja ensured a good total for India at the Wankhede Stadium.
