Notable Exclusions
But unfortunately, the likes of KL Rahul, Rinku Singh and Shubman Gill are the ones to miss out on the World Cup berths. That clearly means, that the IPL performances were given a decent weightage, where all three did not impress the most.
Team’s India’s Well-Balanced Squad
Apart from Rohit as the opener, India will have a choice between Yashasvi and Virat Kohli as the second opener. Shivam Dube could be the designated finisher for the team in the absence pf Rinku. Going spin-heavy, the leader of the pack will be Kuldeep Yadav, followed by Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja.
If at all, there could be one concern for Team India. The pace bowling attack looks thin. While there is Jasprit Bumrah, but Siraj isn’t the best T20 bowler around. Arshdeep, Shivam and Hardik Pandya will have to come up with the goods.
