All-rounder Axar Patel did not have a great outing but still managed to deliver when the team needed. With the ball, he finished with figures of 2/38 in 4 overs and stayed unbeaten on 10 runs with the bat. The left-arm spinner, who took two wickets, turned the game upside down with his 15th over. He sent back Kusal Perera and Nissanka, starting a major collapse for the hosts.
Parag failed to make a mark with the bat but ended up being the highest wicket-taker for Team India. He ended with a three-wicket haul, bowling just 8 balls to get these scalps and giving away just 5 runs.
