India’s oldest living cricketer Dattajirao Gaekwad passes away at 95

Former skipper and the oldest Indian cricketer Dattajirao Gaekwad passed away at the age of 95 years in Baroda

Former Team India skipper Dattajirao Gaekwad passed away at the age of 95 years in Baroda. Having made his debut in 1952, he ammassed 350 runs from 11 Tests for the national side. He was the longest living Indian cricketer.

Gaekwad amassed 5788 first-class runs from 110 matches, with a highest score of 249 not-out.
