India cricket team will have their first practice session at 2.30 PM IST on Sunday. Rohit Sharma and co. arrived in Dubai on Saturday, embarking on a mission to clinch their second ICC Champions Trophy title. The Men in Blue will commence their CT 2025 campaign on February 20 as they take on Bangladesh in their tournament opener.
Mission Champions Trophy – no rest day for India!
As per RevSportz, Team India will have their first practice session at the ICC Academy at 2.30 PM. The team has opted against having a rest day, given that the flight from Mumbai to Dubai was a short one. The report further states that there will be no press conference that will be addressed by the Indian camp today.

The first set of Indian players and support staff departed from Mumbai on Saturday afternoon. The players included Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Washington Sundar, Harshit Rana, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakravarthy, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel. The support staff members included head coach Gautam Gambhir, bowling coach Morne Morkel, fielding coach T Dilip, assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate.
India will be aiming to lift the Champions Trophy for the second time, having last won the title in 2013. The Men in Blue will be aiming to put behind the horrors of the 2023 ODI World Cup final.
