Team India take break in Zimbabwe to visit wildlife sanctuary

The Indian squad had a three-day break between the second and third IND vs ZIM T20I matches after playing their first two matches on consecutive days and they made the most of it.

Before the third T20I match against Zimbabwe, the Indian players, their families, and support staff took a break from cricket to visit a wildlife sanctuary. The Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) official social media handles featured the photos from the visit.

The Indian squad had a three-day break between the second and third IND vs ZIM T20I matches after playing their first two matches on consecutive days.

Taking full advantage of the time, the players and coaching staff went to the Wildlife Park. The BCCI, Zimbabwe cricket, and Zimbabwe tourism organized the trip because the players brought their families along. There were pictures of deer, giraffes, elephants, and other wild creatures. The Indian contingent posed for a group photo while beaming broadly.

“The BCCI, along with Zimbabwe Cricket and Zimbabwe Tourism, had organised a Wildlife Tour for the Indian Cricket Team & their families in Harare,” BCCI captioned the post.

After losing the first T20I match against Zimbabwe, the Indian team produced an incredible comeback in the second one. India defeated the hosts by 100 runs in a convincing victory that leveled the series at 1-1. The Indian batters shone with Abhishek Sharma scoring his maiden international century, while Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a half-century.
