The injury had troubled Jemimah for quite some time since the Commonwealth Games. She injured her wrist in the game against Barbados. Following her batting, she didn’t field and was seen putting ice on her injury. She began her Hundred stint on a powerful note after slamming 51 runs in the opening game.
Gaby Lewis will replace her like she did last season when Smriti Mandhana returned home. Speaking of her Superchargers call-up, Lewis said: “I am excited to be returning to play in the Hundred once again, after getting a taste for the competition last year. It will be a juggle of commitments between Ireland and the Superchargers, but I am keen to ensure I can contribute to both teams as fully as I can.”

Jemimah’s injury will be a major blow to the Indian squad. The middle-order batter returned to form with some stunning performances in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Now the main question that arises is whether she will be fit in the upcoming months.
India is scheduled to tour England which begins from 10th September. India will face England in 3 T20I matches and then follow it up with 3 ODI matches.
