India vs Pakistan: After asking the Pakistan skipper if his Birthday was today or yesterday, Azam replied by saying that it was yesterday. Further on, Gavaskar was seen advising him as well. The legendary Indian batter was heard saying that “If your shot selection is good, then there is no other problem”. Even Shadab Khan was spotted in the video as well. Moreover, Gavaskar even signed a cap for Azam.
This gesture from the former Indian opener was heartwarming to say the least. After signing the cap, Gavaskar and Azam were seen posing for a picture with it as well. It is to be noted that the Super 12 stage of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 is all set to commence on October 22. India and Pakistan will be facing each other on October 23 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

The last time these two teams clashed during the T20 WC in 2021, Pakistan beat India by 10 wickets. As a matter of fact, it was Babar Azam who led from the front by scoring an unbeaten 68 from just 52 balls. Thus, he would want to repeat the same and beat India for the second time in a World Cup game. Having said the same, India have been in good form of late.
After beating Australia and South Africa in a T20I series at home not too long ago, they once beat the Aaron Finch-led side during a practice match on Monday. Hence, the upcoming game between India and Pakistan promises to be an absolute cracker of a contest. Another important point to be noted is that the two Asian countries faced each other in the Asia Cup 2022 twice. While India won the first, Pakistan ended up winning the second encounter.
