For those who missed out on securing tickets through the public ballot for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup in the United States and West Indies, there’s another opportunity to obtain them during the general ticket sales.
With just 100 days remaining until the tournament kicks off on June 1st and concludes on June 29th, the remaining tickets will now be available for purchase to the general public.
Following the overwhelming demand during the ballot phase, which commenced on February 1st, tickets for the event will go on general sale starting from February 22nd on the T20 World Cup website. Tickets for all matches will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

During the ballot phase, the ICC received over 3 million ticket applications from more than 161 countries for the prestigious T20 cricket event. Notably, tickets for nine T20 World Cup matches in the USA are currently unavailable, with the India versus Pakistan fixture on June 9th in New York oversubscribed by more than 200 times, as stated in an ICC media release.
Additionally, the semi-finals in Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, along with the final in Barbados, were oversubscribed in the ballot, as were two Super Eight matches in Barbados and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. However, tickets for all other fixtures in the West Indies are still available for purchase.
