Playing a true skipper’s knock, Babar Azam not only outscored the ‘run machine’ in the clash but also guided his side home with his innings that included six fours and two sixes. Leading from the front, Azam with his opening partner M Rizwan (79* off 55) completely dominated the run chase of 152 runs. The duo chased down the total easily with 13 balls remaining, smashing Indian bowlers all over the park.

To add to it, this is the first-ever 10 wickets win of Pakistan against any opponent in a World Cup.

The duo Babar Azam and M Rizwan completely dominated the run chase. While the Indian spinners Varun Chakravarthy and Ravindra Jadeja lacked penetration and panicked with their trajectories, the pace attack comprised of Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, M Shami, and Jasprit Bumrah simply couldn’t provide a breakthrough.
