India vs Pakistan: Asia Cup 2023 – Before the ICC ODI World Cup 2023, India will face arch-rivals in Pakistan in the Asia Cup starting from August 31 to September 17. This Continental Cup will be co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka with six teams participating. This year’s Asia Cup will be played in the ODI format, which gives chance for all teams except Nepal to prepare for the ODI World Cup.
The mega India vs Pakistan clash will be held on September 3. India will play all their matches in Sri Lanka. Only four matches will take place in Pakistan, while the rest of the nine matches will be played in the Island nation. However, the full schedule of Asia Cup will be announced this week.
“There are some last-minute details to go over. The tentative schedule has been shared with the members. It should be out by this week. Colombo is an issue due to the monsoon season. We would have ideally hoped for the India vs Pakistan match in Colombo but rain could be an issue,” a BCCI official told InsideSport.
