India vs England Test: Virat-Rohit get 2-day break before joining Hyderabad practice

Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma will join India practice in Hyderabad ahead of India vs England Tests on Jan 20 after a two-day break.

The T20Is are officially over and it’s time for the marathon five-match Test series. And to rejuvenate before the India vs England Test series, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and others have got a two-day break after the IND vs AFG T20I series. Both Virat and Rohit have headed back home from Bengaluru on Thursday morning. They will join the team in Hyderabad on Jan 20 for the four-day practice session ahead of IND vs ENG Test series starting on Jan 25.

Apart from Virat and Rohit, India’s coaching staff including head coach Rahul Dravid are on a break too. Dravid and his support staff will also reach Hyderabad on Saturday.

Ravindra Jadeja, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj who were rested from the IND vs AFG T20 series will also be back for the practice camp.

India Cricket Team will have a four-day pre-series practice camp with match simulations and intra-squad matches.

However, Virat Kohli will get a one-day leave on Jan 22 to attend Ram temple consecration. As per reports, Kohli has reportedly secured permission from the BCCI to attend the Pran Pratistha ceremony in Ayodhya.
