India vs England: Delhi Capitals teammates Axar Patel, Ishant Sharma troll Rishabh Pant on “shareef ladka” post – Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel were brutally trolled by Ishant Sharma as the trio engaged in some banter on social media. The Delhi Capitals stars are currently in Leeds as they prepare for the third Test vs England at Headingley which kicks off on Wednesday. The players were afforded a week-long break following their heroics at Lord’s, as Team India took a 1-0 lead in the series.

India vs England: Rishabh Pant has aced his social media game and used the break to offer fans some glimpses into his life off the field. Pant then cheekily posted a picture where he could be seen posing in casual attire, claiming that “Class ka sabse shareef ladka”, which translates to “the most well-mannered boy in the class.”

India vs England: While the photo itself was an instant hit, the banter in the comments section by Axar Patel and Ishant Sharma stole the show. The left-arm spinner hilariously replied to Pant’s post as: “wo jo hai photo le raha tha,” meaning “The well-mannered boy is the one who took the picture.” However, it was Ishant Sharma who bagged the win, by replying on Axar Patel’s comment saying, “bapu shareef or tu bhi, well done” which translates to, “you calling yourself well-mannered?”.

India vs England: The banter shows great camaraderie between the trio which has been the hallmark of the Indian team. While Ishant Sharma is the senior-most member of the team, he was engaged in fun and games with youngsters Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel, showcasing the atmosphere in the dressing room.
India vs England: The trio will travel together to UAE after the India vs England series when they rejoin the Delhi Capitals. Rishabh Pant captained the side in IPL 2021 Phase 1, but a decision is yet to be made for Phase 2 after the return of Shreyas Iyer following his injury. Last season’s finalists are atop the IPL 2021 points table with six wins in eight games, before the league was suspended amidst the pandemic.
