8:27 PM IST: 8th T20I fifty for Shreyas Iyer. It has been an exceptional innings under pressure as Shreyas Iyer gets to his half-century with a six.

8:24 PM IST: India have lost Axar Patel. He has been stroking the ball nicely. But that approach undoes his work. Axar departs for 31 off 21 as Jason Behrendorff’s knuckle ball ends his stay. India 143/6.

8:20 PM IST: Last two overs and India are 134/5. The 150-run mark is still within reach, all thanks to Axar Patel and Shreyas Iyer.

8:10 PM IST: Last four overs and India are 115/5. Axar Patel and Shreyas Iyer are on the crease.

8:00 PM IST: And it’s 5/97. Just when it seemed Jitesh Sharma and Shreyas Iyer would take India to safety, the keeper-batter has fallen. Aaron Hardie gets extra bounce and Jitesh mistimes completely to give away a catch. India are way off the 150-run mark.

7:55 PM IST: The runs have finally started to flow. Although it’s still not easy to bat on this surface but a boundary here and there off the edges have taken India to 95/4 in 13 overs. Shreyas Iyer and Jitesh Sharma are shouldering the responsibilities.

7:47 PM IST: Halfway through and India are in a difficult spot. They are 61/4 with Shreyas Iyer and Jitesh Sharma on teh crease. But it hasn’t been easy to hit against the pacers and neither against spinners so far.

7:32 PM IST: India’s trouble deepens in Bengaluru as it’s India captain Suryakumar Yadav who falls for 5. It was a shortish delivery by Ben Dwarshuis and as SKY tried to play on the backfoot creating room to smash it through the square, he gives away a straight catch to Ben McDermott. India 46/3

7:16 PM IST: India have lost their first wicket and it’s Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jason behrendorff was teasing him to play the pull shot again and again. And while he did hit one for a six and another for a boundary, this time, he skies a chance and an easy catch. India 33/1 after 4.
