According to AccuWeather.com, Friday’s weather forecast is challenging, particularly in the afternoon. There is a 47% chance of rain at 12 PM and a 51% likelihood of thunderstorms at 1 PM. However, conditions are expected to improve around the time of the toss at 2 PM local time, with only a 15% chance of rain under cloudy skies. The outlook continues to brighten as the day progresses, with the rain probability steadily decreasing. The weekend and subsequent days look promising for uninterrupted play, though there is a slight chance of light showers on the fifth day, if the match lasts that long.

On Day 1 of the much awaited competition, rain is expected to play spoilsport. On the first day of the Pink Ball Test, there is a 40% probability of rain. It is expected to reach above 30°C on December 6 before falling to 27°C with afternoon showers. The weather may be favorable for pacers because 98% of the sky is covered. Rain is 14% likely to fall on Day 2, while Day 3 will be shower-free. The teams would prefer not to play on Day 5 because there is a 74% chance of rain.
