India U19 to face Afghanistan & South Africa in tri-series to prepare for U19 World Cup

Both the tri-series and the U19 World Cup will be played in South Africa.

With the ICC Cricket U19 World Cup in mind, BCCI has announced a tri-series ahead of the mega event to ensure India U19 gets enough game time. The U19 World Cup is scheduled to start on January 19 in South Africa. Just three weeks before the World Cup, India U19, South Africa U19, and Afghanistan U19 will face off in South Africa.

All the matches in the tri-series will be played at the Old Edwardians Cricket Club in Johannesburg. Each team will face each other twice before the final. India U19 will face Afghanistan U19 on December 29 and January 4, and South Africa U19 on January 2 and 6.
