The young Lankan captain said Dravid, India’s head coach on the Sri Lanka tour, lauded his captaincy skills and praised the Lankan team.
As per a report in themorning.lk, Rahul Dravid told Dasun Shanaka, “You are leading the side very well. The entire team is praiseworthy.”

The report further stated that “Dravid had told Shanaka that India had been ‘surprised’ by the much-improved Sri Lanka side while also conceding that they were outplayed on Tuesday in the second ODI, which Sri Lanka lost after a close fight.”

In the short interaction, Dravid acknowledged Lankan ace allrounder Chamika Karunaratne for his aggressive approach.
In fact, Dravid minced motivating words even for the rival captain and said, “There is improvement in the team unity and without that, you can never win.”
