He is unavailable as he picked up a minor injury. The right-arm leg break gave India a tough time in the second ODI which the visitors won by three wickets.

According to a report in Cricwire.lk, Sri Lanka Cricket sources told the sources that Hasaranga has suffered a minor injury and might be rested for today’s game as a precaution. He will be rested from the third ODI as a precautionary measure to be fit for the T20I series starting Sunday.

Wanindu Hasaranga was the man of the moment from Sri Lanka who tightened the noose for India in the second ODI. Alone he ravaged 3 crucial Indian wickets which included the important scalps of Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan, and Krunal Pandya. Besides, he leaked just 37 runs in his spell of 10 overs and maintained a phenomenal economy of 3.7.
