- Rohit has been spotted traveling to the Santiago Bernabeu, home of 13-time European Champions Real Madrid.
Rohit rested for South Africa home series-
- Rohit has already been rested for the South Africa tour of India.
- The five-match T20I series has seen senior players being rested, this includes Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah.
- Rohit will travel with head coach Rahul Dravid on 15th or 16th June in order to prepare for the England series.
- With exhausting IPL campaign season, Rohit has taken full advantage of the rest period and travelled to Maldives.

Rohit to captain India in 1 Test, 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is –
- The series will see India complete the England Test series, where India lead 2-1.
- The only Test match will be followed by three ODIs and three T20Is
- The tour will be a good test for Rohit Sharma as he takes charge of the side for the first time on permanent basis on a foreign tour.
- The limited-overs series will serve as a build-up to the upcoming T20 World Cup in Australia.
