India Tour of England: Cheteshwar Pujara taking tips from Ravi Shastri
In the video, Pujara can be seen talking with the coach Ravi Shastri. In India’s first practice game against County XI, Cheteshwar Pujara failed to come back to form. He departed cheaply for 21 in 1st innings and 38 in 2nd innings. In the 1st innings, he was stumped while trying to dance down the track to take on off-spinner Jack Carson. The extra bounce affected his decision as the ball went past the narrow opening between his bat and pad and wicket-keeper James Rew did the rest of the work behind the stumps. (India’s practice session)
While in the 2nd innings, in the second innings he was dismissed by Jack Carson again. Pujara tried to flick a ball that was on his pads but ended up guiding it in the hands of leg slip. Pujara needs to get back inform ahead of the England series. He has another chance in India’s 2nd practice game.(ENG vs IND)
India Tour of England: Rishabh Pant hits nets
Another big news from this practice session was Rishabh Pant hitting nets for the first time after testing positive for Covid-19. Pant, who is an aggressive batsman by nature, tried to hit some lofted shots in the nets. Pant has already scored a century in England and this is his 2nd tour of the country. The left-hand batsman will try to make full use of the 2nd practice game to get back in touch.
Making new friends here in England ☺️

India opening batsman Mayank Agarwal, who announced his return to form with a 47 run knock in the practice game can also be seen batting in the nets in the video. India captain Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma can also be seen playing some defensive shots in the nets.
Interestingly KL Rahul, Wriddhiman Saha and Pant all were seen doing wicket-keeping practice in the video. Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Prasidh Krishna can be seen bowling in the nets while Rohit also rolled his arm over in the nets.
