India Tour of Bangladesh: Rohit Sharma chills out with family, amidst intense training session in Mumbai – After India’s abject 10-wicket thrashing in the hands of England in the T20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma is enjoying a break with family. The 35-year-old is also preparing for Bangladesh series by going for intense training sessions at the Reliance practice ground in Mumbai. Rohit shared the photographs wherein; he was seen running and get to back to fitness. India will play two Tests and three ODIs against Bangladesh.

IND vs BAN: Rohit Sharma eyes big runs against spirited Bangladesh

  • After struggling for form in the T20 World Cup, India skipper will be eyeing some runs against Bangladesh.
  • Rohit is yet to score a ODI century since scoring one in January 2020. The right-hand batter will return to the Test fold after one year gap.
  • The India skipper missed playing a 3-match Test series against South Africa and a one-off Test against England.
  • BCCI will continue to persist with Rohit Sharma in the Tests and ODI till at least the 2023 World Cup.
  • The India skipper though needs to get back to his run-scoring ways. Bangladesh series presents a perfect opportunity for Rohit.
  • For that, the 35-year-old is doing rigorous training and intense workout sessions.
