With a host of Indian fans expected to storm the stadium during the warm-up matches, the Perth Scorchers have launched a special Indian-style food menu for the games. In the images shared on social media, fans will be treated to some desi snacks including Samosa, Chhole, and fries.
Rohit Sharma & Co has reached Australia. Perth will be the 1st base for Indian team in T20 World CUP. India’s 1st official practice session in Australia is scheduled for Saturday. India will play two practice matches in Perth against Western Australia XI on the 10th of October & 13th of October.
The Men in Blue will then play Australia and New Zealand in the ICC T20 World Cup warm-up fixtures on the 17th and 19th of October. India has played a lot of cricket of late in India, where the conditions are different from Down Under. The pace and bounce is going to be a huge change for some of the Indian players, who have not played in Australia.
