India T20 WC Exit: Premier all-rounder Hardik Pandya was devastated with Team India’s exit from the T20 World Cup 2022 on Thursday. Pandya played a whirlwind knock of 63 runs off 33 deliveries in the semi-finals against England in Adelaide but it was not enough to save Team India from their blushes. Soon after India’s exit, the Vadodara all-rounder was one of the first members from the squad, to reflect on the team’s performance in the marquee event. And although he was one of the bright spots in India’s all-round questionable performance, Pandya said that the team will keep fighting on in the upcoming tournaments.
“Devastated, gutted, hurt. Tough to take, for all of us. To my teammates, I’ve enjoyed the bond that we built – we fought for each other every step of the way. Thank you to our support staff for their endless dedication and hardwork for months on end,” Pandya tweeted.

What next for Hardik Pandya?
Pandya continued to carry his fine form after the IPL 2022 triumph to the T20 World Cup 2022. He showed that he is one of the most important members of the team with his abilities to finish the matches and knack of picking wickets in the middle-overs.
In absence of the injured Ravindra Jadeja, he played a crucial role in India’s run to the semi-finals. The Gujarat Titans captain accumulated 128 runs in the marquee event with eight wickets from as many matches to his name.
However, with Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul rested, Pandya’s assignment will be in New Zealand where he will lead the T20 squad. The series will run from November 18 to 22 and the selection committee will have a close eye on his leadership abilities for future prospect.
