India T20 Squad NZ Series: Prithvi Shaw comeback – As Rahul Dravid demanded, Prithvi Shaw has broken down the door with consistent domestic shows. After an 18-month exile, Shaw has forced the selectors to name him for the T20 squad for NewZealand series. However, injured Sanju Samson has missed out as he continues to undergo rehab. Other than that, India’s T20 squad is similar to the one that faced SriLanka. That means Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma along with other seniors continue to remain absent from the shortest format. Both teams will benefit from the ODI series as they get ready for the 2023 50-overs World Cup, which will be held in India. The upcoming series, meanwhile, would be a fantastic chance for the Indian team to maintain their home domination. In a recent away T20I series that was interrupted due to weather, India prevailed by a score of 1-0. The Men in Blue, however, will be ready to exact revenge for their 0-1 loss in the away ODI series.
