India Squad NZ Series: Samson keen to do well against New Zealand, readies himself to face NZ bowlers on swinging conditions – Samson has been in good form in white-ball formats for India in 2022. In whatever limited opportunities he has got, the wicketkeeper-batter has grabbed with both hands. The 28-year-old is also coming off a good Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy season as he scored over 200 innings in 7 matches. Prior to that, Samson had a profitable ODI series against South Africa notching over 100 runs with an impressive strike rate of 120 in three matches.
Samson has yet given chance to showcase his humongous talent against New Zealand. The pitches Down Under will suit his style as he likes the ball coming on to bat. The right-hand batter also is a good player of the rising ball and with this special drill, Samson will be looking to do well against New Zealand in swinging conditions.
