The All India Selection Committee have announced the squads for India’s upcoming tour of England, with Rohit Sharma’s side set to play 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is and a rescheduled 5th Test from their previous tour. The tour also sees the presence of three practice games, including two T20s and a first class game.

India’s tour begins with the 4-day game against Leicestershire on Friday, June 24. The Test match is scheduled for July 1-5 at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
The T20Is will be played on 7, 9 and 10th July, at Southampton, Edgbaston and Nottingham. The ODIs will begin from July 12 at The Oval, with action shifting to Lord’s and the Old Trafford on 17th, for the final game of the series.

The squad for the ODI and T20I series will be announced at a later date, with India also involved in a five-match T20I series against South Africa at home. Regular vice captain KL Rahul will lead the side before joining up with the rest of the squad in England. Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer are also part of both teams.
Head coach Rahul Dravid will meanwhile accompany the team to England, while VVS Laxman, the newly appointed head of NCA will fill in during the South Africa T20s. India will resume with a 2-1 series lead, with the team then lead by Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri having sealed the advantage.
