The India Cricket Team has made some changes to their playing XI from the previous game against England. There is no space for Varun Chakravarthy and Arshdeep Singh. Ravindra Jadeja returns to the lineup. Meanwhile, young pacer Harshit Rana gets the nod ahead of Arshdeep. On the other hand, it will be Mohammed Shami who will lead India’s pace attack.
India’s batting lineup remains the same. The team management hasn’t made any tweaks for the same. The only change and shuffle comes in the bowling order. India has opted for Kuldeep Yadav as their specialist spinner instead of Varun Chakravarthy.
No chance for Varun & Arshdeep
“I would have fielded first. We have played a few years back here so we felt ball comes on better under lights. All looking good. Everyone is fit and fine to go. Let’s hope we start well. There is no looking back, every game becomes very important in this tournament. Only Varun misses out from the last ODI we played, Jadeja comes back and Arshdeep misses and Shami comes back,” Rohit Sharma said during the Toss.
Rohit Sharma and Co have been put to bowl first after Bangladesh won the toss in Dubai. The Indian captain announced that Varun Chakravarthy and Arshdeep Singh missed out on a place. Instead, Ravindra Jadeja and Harshit Rana return to the side. Kuldeep acts as the specialist spinner while Mohammed Shami will lead the pace attack.
