India Playing XI 4th T20: Jaiswal retained as Hardik backs winning team

Hardik Pandya will not tinker much with his Playing XI with the series on the line.

India Playing XI vs WI: With series on the line, Indian cricket team captain Hardik Pandya did not tinker with combinations for the IND vs WI 4th T20. Jaiswal retained his place with Shubman Gill as a partner. Pace bowlers Umran Malik and Avesh Khan however miss out again with Mukesh Kumar featuring.

Having clinched a win in Guyana, Hardik and Co head to Florida to take the series to the final game of the tour. A defeat on Saturday would leave India with a series defeat against the West Indies for the first time since 2016. The Men in Blue will be keen to avoid that, and the winning combination is set to continue. Perhaps the only change could be the rotation of Shubman Gill, with Ishan Kishan coming in.

Ravi Bishnoi leaked runs in his only game, and the team management will stick with KulCha to get the job done. Axar bowled well in the 3rd T20I, while Hardik himself did well as the 3rd seamer. Mukesh Kumar and Arshdeep Singh have blown hot and cold but will continue to feature in the India Playing XI. The duo remain in contention for a spot in the World Cup and are likely to continue. Umran and Avesh will thus have to warm the bench again. However, should the surface offer more pace, one of the duo could feature in place of Chahal.

IND Playing XI 4th T20: What to expect

  • Yashasvi Jaiswal to continue despite a lacklustre debut
  • Tilak Varma’s impress form gets him No.4 spot, Sanju Samson to continue as a finisher.

  • Kuldeep Yadav frontline option, Chahal as second spinner
