Rohit Sharma’s men completely outclassed Afghanistan on a two-paced track, despite a dangerous bowling attack possessed by the latter. It was Suryakumar Yadav’s fifty in the first innings that took the Men in Blue to an above par total of 181. Afghan batters, however, looked listless, as they were bundled out for 134.

Rohit Sharma (1.5/10): Rohit was the first one to lose his wicket for India as he skied one up against Farooqi. He made 8 off 13, continuing his sorry performances in the ongoing World Cup. After a fifty in the first game, Rohit’s average has dropped to just 25.33 in the tournament.
Virat Kohli (3/10): Virat Kohli’s horror show as an opener continued as the star batter was dismissed for a run-a-ball 24. While he played decently, he was caught on the boundary off Rashid’s delivery. However, he dropped a dolly while standing at point.
Rishabh Pant (5.5/10): A brisk innings by Pant, who even hit four boundaries. However, he perished while playing an ugly reverse-sweep, that too, against Rashid Khan.
Suryakumar Yadav (9.5/10): After a much-needed unbeaten fifty against USA, Suryakumar once again silenced his critics with a match-winning knock in Barbados. On a two-paced track, he played a free-flowing innings, an ability only he has. SKY won the Man of the Match for his heroics!
Shivam Dube (3/10): Much like Rohit and Kohli, Shivam Dube also failed to contribute once more. He hammered one six during his 7-ball stay.
Hardik Pandya (8/10): The T20 World Cup 2024 has been a refreshing chapter for Hardik Pandya as far as his all-round game is concerned. He gave a decent hand to Suryakumar as they both added 60 runs in just 37 balls. Pandya even bowled a miserly two-very spell (0/13).

Ravindra Jadeja (6/10): Jaddu had zero runs, wickets and catch prior to this clash. However, he ticked all three boxes today, picking up the scalp of Azmatullah Omarzai. He, however, gave away his wicket off 7.
Axar Patel (8.5/10): Bowled as per plan and once again cramped up left-handers quite well. His 6-ball 12 was vital in the first innings before Axar took 1/15 in his 3 overs.
Jasprit Bumrah (10/10): Bumrah got the first breakthrough for India as he took the dangerous-looking Gurbaz with an off cutter. He then took the better off Hazratullah Zazai before dismissing Najibullah Zadran. Remarkably, Bumrah almost bowled a maiden over that was the penultimate over.
Kuldeep Yadav (8.5/10): The left-armer was brought in place of Siraj as India eyed a formidable spin attack. Unsurprisingly, Kuldeep shone as he took two wickets. Incredibly, this was his maiden T20 World Cup game!
Arshdeep Singh (8.5/10): Arshdeep Singh and his stellar T20 World Cup record continued as he scalped three times in Barbados. However, he leaked 36 runs, which was the most by any Indian.
