After Hardik Pandya, more trouble for India Cricket Team. Suryakumar Yadav who was destined to fill in the No 6 void is likely to miss the IND vs NZ clash. SKY suffered a blow to his right wrist during a practice session on Saturday ahead of India vs New Zealand Cricket World Cup clash. India have already suffered a Hardik Pandya blow. The all-rounder is set to miss the clash with an ankle injury.

However, the good news is that Suyrakumar Yadav did not need an X-ray. He applied an ice pack and doing better.

India head coach Rahul Dravid would have to pick a batter to fill in Hardik Pandya void. While Suyrakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan were the two options, the latter was stung by a bee. And could be doubtful as well.

“Yeah, obviously, Hardik is an important player for us. He is an important all-rounder so helps us really balance our squad out really well. But he is going to be missing this game. So we will have to work around that and see what is the best combination. In the end, we’ve got to work with the 14 that we’ve got. Sometimes you do expect these kinds of things can happen. So that’s why you have got a squad,” Rahul Dravid said at the pre-match press conference.
