The India Cricket Team has won two of their group-stage matches in the ICC Champions Trophy. As a result, the Men in Blue have reached the semi-finals of the tournament. Former Pakistani spinner Danish Kaneria has hailed India for producing fine bowlers. He cited the examples of Sai Kishore and Mayank Yadav claiming India has been working on the basics.
“India is producing fine bowlers. There is a fine process. Sai Kishore is a fantastic spinner. He has to wait because Ravichandran Ashwin has retired, and Washington Sundar is playing. He has to wait for his chance, and when he gets it, he will grab it with both hands,” Danish Kaneria told ANI.
India producing great bowlers
Sai Kishore has been a consistent performer. He plays his trade for the Indian Premier League (IPL) side Gujarat Titans. He has also been performing regularly for Tamil Nadu in domestic cricket. He even represented India in the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Danish Kaneria also heaped huge praises for young pacer Mayank Yadav. He even brought the example of Umran Malik who lighted up the stage with his impressive speed. Kaneria was happy that India are producing great products.

“Mayank Yadav has a lot of talent, he is brilliant. There is another fast bowler, Umran Malik. There are many such IPL bowlers who are also performing well in domestic cricket. They are being produced in the MRF Pace Academy. They are working on the basics. India has such a great product, that they are coming one after the other,” he added.
Mayank Yadav shocked everyone with his lightning pace for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2024. He consistently bowled over 150 kph before sustaining injuries. The young pacer won 2 Man of the Match awards in three IPL appearances for his side.
