India in trouble! Ravindra Jadeja likely to be ruled out of 3rd Test in Rajkot

Jadeja suffered a hamstring injury during India's 231-run chase in Hyderabad and is currently under rehabilitation at the NCA.

It’s going from bad to worse for the Indian cricket team. After suffering a humiliating defeat in Hyderabad, Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul were ruled out of the IND vs ENG 2nd Test, adding misery to an already injured-plagued side.

The duo joined Mohammed Shami and Virat Kohli on the list of players to miss the IND vs ENG 2nd Test. But it seems like that won’t be the end of problems for Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid.

Now, as per reports (Cricbuzz), Ravindra Jadeja will require more time to recover from his hamstring injury and, in all likelihood, will miss the third Test in Hyderabad as well.

Ravindra Jadeja to the 3rd and 4th Tests?

Normally, a hamstring injury takes somewhere between three and eight weeks to heal. That means that not only could Ravindra Jadeja miss the India vs England 3rd Test in Rajkot, but it also suggests that the star all-rounder will miss the fourth Test in Ranchi.

The fourth Test will be played from February 23 to 27, which will be roughly a month after Jadeja suffered the injury. It might be nothing short of miraculous to see Jadeja in whites before the Final Test in Dharamsala (March 7–11).
