The India Cricket Team will tour Sri Lanka (IND vs SL) for a 3-match ODI and 3-match T20I series in July 2024. As a part of the Future Tours Program, the Men in Blue will travel to the Emerald Isles for a white-ball series after the conclusion of the ICC T20 World Cup.
The Sri Lanka Cricket Board took to social media to announce the schedule. As a part of the Future Tours Program, India will travel to Sri Lanka for some exciting white-ball cricket. The series will be held after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup which will be held in the West Indies and in the USA.
Though the ICC has banned the Sri Lanka Cricket Board which resulted in the U-19 World Cup being shifted to Sri Lanka, it won’t hamper the bilateral series. Teams can play against Sri Lanka both at home and away as the schedule is a part of the FTP.
It will be a busy schedule for the Men in Blue right after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup. It can be expected beforehand that quite a few senior players who will play a key role in the T20 World Cup will be rested for the Sri Lanka Tour.
