Indian leg spinner phenomenon Ravi Bishnoi has decided to switch teams with ambitions to change his luck when it comes to his selection for the Indian Team. Bishnoi has found himself at odds when it comes to selection for the Indian white-ball team despite his performances in List A and T20 cricket.
The 22-year-old has an average record in List A and First Class for Rajasthan. The spinner has played only one first-class match, picking up two scalps in two innings with an economy of 29.50 and a strike rate of 48. His record in List A is not that great either; while the bowler picked up 36 wickets in the 25 games he played, his average of 33.75 and strike rate of 37 showed the leg spinner’s inability to pick up wickets at regular intervals.

Ravi Bishnoi’s record for India
Bishnoi has played a total of 11 matches for India and has an impressive record. In the 10 T20I matches the leg spinner has played, he has picked up 16 wickets at an average of 17 and a low economy of 7. His performance in the lone ODI he played, however, wasn’t up to the mark, as he conceded 69 runs from 8 overs and was able to pick only one wicket.
The leg spinner enjoyed a successful IPL 2023 stint while playing for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), with 16 scalps to his name (breaking his record of 12 wickets in a season in 2021).
With the ODI World Cup scheduled to be held this year and the T20 World Cup to be held next year, it is safe to assume the leg spinner has decided to switch his base from Rajasthan to Gujarat with the two big white ball tournaments in mind.
