India A vs England Lions: Potts & Carse demolish Indian batters as Lions gain upper hand on Day 1

With Alex Lees and Oliver Price set in the middle and the trail reduced to just 94, the England Lions look in prime position to dominate the 3rd Test and level the series 1-1.

Day 1 of the 3rd unofficial Test between the India A and England Lions was utterly dominated by the visitors. From the get-go, the English pacers made life miserable for the Indian batters. Matthew Potts cleaned up the entire Indian top and middle order before Lunch (82/5).

It was then Brydon Carse who claimed four of the next five wickets as India A were dismissed for a miserly 192 runs. After dominating the batters, the England batters put the Indian bowlers, who were put under the pump, At the end of play, the England Lions trail by just 94 runs, with Alex Lees unbeaten on 48.
