IND-W vs ENG-W LIVE: Indian Women lose to England, BELOW PAR Batting by India gives defending champions LIFELINE in ICC Women World Cup

IND-W vs ENG-W LIVE Score: Harmanpreet Kaur & Smriti Mandhana, who played match-winning knocks in the last match, could not come to India’s rescue today as the Lionesses ran riots.

Mandhana scored 35, whilst Harmanpreet was out for just 14. Previously, England bowlers stuck early by removing both Yastika Bhatia and Mithali Raj.

Unlike the last match, Bhatia could not last long either and was OUT for 8. Indian captain Mithali on the other hand continues to put up flop show in the World Cup. Mithali this time was out for just 1. India lost their 3rd wicket as Deepti Sharma was RUN-OUT for a duck.

Richa Ghosh offered some resilience as she scored 33 runs, whereas veteran pacer Jhulan Goswami also played a good hand of 20 runs. Currently, Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Megha Singh are at the crease

Meanwhile, the Heather Knight-led defending WORLD CHAMPIONS are desperate for a win. They have lost all three matches in the tournament and one more defeat at the hands of India today can almost knock them out of the World Cup.

Mithali Raj’s side meanwhile has 2 wins in the World Cup over Pakistan and the West Indies in the last match. A win today will boost their chances to qualify for the SEMIFINALS.
