IND-W vs AUS-W: Beth Mooney survives by a whisker in 1st Test as India strike early

After a devastating start for Australia, Beth Mooney was also set to be sent packing before DRS saved her in IND-W vs AUS-W Test

Australia’s Beth Mooney had a close shave after she was almost trapped for an LBW by Renuka Singh in the one-off IND-W vs AUS-W Test in Mumbai. Winning the toss and opting to bat, Australia lost both their openers in quick succession. Mooney almost joined them back in the pavilion before the DRS saved her.

The Australian batter was trapped by Renuka Singh on the first delivery of the 4th over. India decided to review the not out decision given by the on-field umpire. The ball tracking system showed the ball narrowly missing the stumps, with the third umpire asking his on-field counterpart to stick with his decision of not out.
