Team India Women’s spinner Mannat Kashyap made her ODI debut in the 3rd IND W vs AUS W ODI on Tuesday. Kashyap replaced an Sneh Rana, who was injured in the previous game after a collision with Pooja Vastrakar. Australia won the toss and opted to bat first in the final ODI in Mumbai.
Who is Mannat Kashyap?
Hailing from Patiala, Mannat is known for her craftiness on the field. Although previously named in the T20I series against England, Kashyap did not get an opportunity to play.
Considered an old-school left-arm spinner by scouts, Kashyap possesses a skilful ability to impart significant turn to the ball. Her game is characterized by subtle deception, skillfully employing the crease and angles. Riding on a wave of confidence, Kashyap successfully secured her spot in India’s T20I squad for the England series.
