Youngster Shreyanka Patil makes her ODI debut in the IND W vs AUS W as she caps off a stellar 2023 in Indian Colour. Patil replaced Saika Ishaque as Eves in Blue took the field. After experiencing a significant defeat in the inaugural ODI, the Indian women’s cricket team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, is looking to regroup and pursue a victory in the second ODI against the Australian women in the IND W vs AUS W series to level the series.

Shreyanka Patil emerged as a standout performer despite the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s lackluster Women’s Premier League campaign. Renowned for her innovative strokeplay and precise off-spin, Shreyanka’s exceptional fielding further elevates her as a valuable all-rounder.
Her remarkable performances didn’t go unnoticed on the global stage, leading to the Guyana Amazon Warriors signing her as the first Indian player in the Women’s CPL. With an impressive tally of nine wickets, she topped the charts for the season, guiding the Warriors to the final.
Earlier, Shreyanka played a pivotal role in India A’s triumph in the Emerging Asia Cup, securing nine wickets in two matches.This meteoric rise continued as she earned her India cap in T20Is against England in December. Her standout performance, a spell of 3/19 in the final game, earned her the Player of the Match award.
