A win against Zimbabwe will enable a top finish, but for that, South Africa has to lose a game either against Pakistan or Netherlands.
IND vs ZIM: Will Rishabh Pant finally get a look in India’s last Super 12 game against Zimbabwe?
- Pant is yet to play a game in the four matches that India have played in Super 12
- The wicketkeeper-batter was about to pay against Bangladesh, but Dinesh Karthik recovered from back spams and played the last game.
- With Karthik not firing with the bat, management can try Pant in the team in place of the veteran wicketkeeper batter.
- Pant is flexible with his batting positions and can bat anywhere from top to bottom.
- India are due to have a practice session tomorrow, and whether or not Pant plays will be decided.
