Raza’s century is his 3rd in the last six innings having scored two magnificent centuries against Bangladesh. It is also the third highest score by a Zimbabwe batter against India after Andy Flower and Brendan Taylor.
Sikandar Raza had single handedly led Zimbabwe to a series win over Bangladesh and much was expected from the 35-year-old against India. While the Men in Blue kept him quiet for the first two games, Raza came onto his own in Zimbabwe’s attempted chase of 290. Unfortunately for the all-rounder, India held their nerve and sealed a 13-run win.
