KL Rahul had the chance to get some runs under his belt ahead of the India vs Pakistan clash but the Indian captain threw away his chance in Harare on Monday. The 30-year-old took his time to bed into the conditions after his failure in the last game, stitching a vital opening partnership with Shikhar Dhawan at the top of the order.
However, just when Rahul seemed like growing in stature and getting back to his groove, he gifted his wicket. The Indian opener will be disappointed with his shot selection especially considering the importance of the clash. While the series is already done and dusted, with the Asia Cup coming up it was Rahul’s final opportunity to get back into the groove.
