After playing blistering knocks of 83 and 49* to keep India alive in the IND vs WI T20 series, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma chatted with each other, sharing the plans they had devised for the 3rd T20. The dynamic duo have batted together before for the Mumbai Indians in the IPL and looked extremely comfortable in the middle. While Surya made his first fifty of the tour, Varma ended the match just one run shy of his second fifty as they stitched an 87-run partnership to guide India to a 7-wicket victory.
Surya, being the senior, asked Varma to speak about his knock in the IND vs WI 3rd T20, to which the youngster replied, “Not much to talk about my knock; I was just enjoying his batting from the other end,” as Surya was laughing after hearing Tilak’s reply.
Surya then quipped, “You didn’t answer my question.”
“One question and two answers; don’t do that. Explain how you batted today,” the Mumbai batter said cheekily while Tilak was chuckling.

Surya then said, “You can ask me something if you want to.”
“I want to tell the public something. Surya Bhai had a note on his wristband that reminded him to take his time in the powerplay.
“But he is on from the very first ball,” Varma added.
Surya funnily said, “Sometimes you have to bluff yourself.”
I have another question. Tilak said, “How did you hit that shot over square leg?” referring to the shot he hit in the 13th over off Alzarri Joseph.
While looking at the camera, the No. 1 T20I batter said, “I’ll tell you, guys, later, and I’ll explain it to him in the dressing room,” as both signed off laughing.
