Team India’s practice session in in Port of Spain has been delayed due to rain. However, reports have confirmed that the late arrival of Team India’s kits was also one of the reason behind delay in training session. Notably, India Cricket Team are scheduled to have their first practice session at Queen’s Park Oval with the 2nd Test starting on July 20.
Luggage issue in Caribbean, not first time!
This is not the first time that luggage and kits delay has occurred in West Indies. Last year, the second T20I between India and West Indies, which was supposed to start at 8:00 PM IST, was delayed by 2 hours due to late arrival of luggage.
The two teams were scheduled to play final two T20Is at St. Kitts, but since there was a delay in the luggage arrival, the match had to be rescheduled. The final two T20Is were scheduled to be played in Florida.

India bagged a comfortable win in the first Test in Dominica as the Men in Blue registered a win by an innings and 141 runs. Debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal was the star for Team India as his 171 along with skipper Rohit Sharma’s century in the first innings helped India post a mammoth total. The upcoming match will be crucial for West Indies as they will look to avoid a series whitewash.
