The trio were promoted up the order to get some batting practice. Yadav batted at number three but did not look at his fluent best. It was also the fourth time in a row in ODIs that he was dismissed by off-spinner.
It remains to be seen if Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid persist with Surya or give a chance to Sanju Samson who has done well in the limited opportunities that he has got. Apart from that, the rest of the team will likely be the same for the second ODI.
