The India skipper Hardik Pandya couldn’t believe what he saw as he started laughing on the spot he was fielding. Meanwhile the bowler rushed to Kishan who kept a calm demeanour despite taking one of the best catches of recent times.
Kishan failed to covert his start to a big score
Opening the innings, Kishan went absolutely berserk in the initial phase of the field restrictions. However, the left-handed batter had to put a break with wicket tumbling at the other end. The left-handed batter scored 37 runs off 29 balls. His innings included three fours and two maximums. However, the wicketkeeper-batter failed to convert his start to a big score.
Despite his shortcomings, Kishan was the second highest run-getter for his in the first innings. Looking to seal his place in the Men in Blue squad, Kishan will be looking to rectify his mistakes in the second match and play a match-winning knock for his team.
